About the project

Survive, Overcome and Support Victims of Crime – “S.O.S. for victims” is an international project co-funded by the European Union. We are working on this project in conjunction with partners in Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.

Our training sessions in Limerick and Dublin have been developed based on the results of two questionnaires, one for victims of crime and one for professionals working with victims of crime.

We will also produce a final report, identifying vulnerabilities and best practices in promoting victims’ rights, supports and protection and making recommendations for improvement. Awareness-raising and dissemination materials will also be developed to engage law enforcement, public prosecutors, victim support workers and the judiciary.
