04 July 2022

ICCL’s Luna Liboni and Doireann Ansbro were in Geneva today for Ireland’s 5th review by the UN Human Rights Committee. Here’s the statement they delivered to the Committee highlighting some of the key issues in our full report.

Our full report was submitted to the UN Human Rights Committee in June and highlighted gaps under the Right to Life, Freedom from Torture & Ill-Treatment, the Right to a Fair Trial and the Right to Privacy, among others.
