Breaking New Ground for Human Rights: ICCL Annual Report 2013

We are pleased to announce the publication of Breaking New Ground for Human Rights, the Irish Council for Civil Liberties’ 2013 Annual Report. The report outlines the work of the ICCL to further human rights and equality in Ireland throughout 2013. This includes our contributions to Constitutional Convention discussions of civil marriage equality and blasphemy; our engagement at Oireachtas and Council of Europe level on the furtherance of women’s reproductive rights; reporting to the United Nations  on human rights and the prevention of torture; and our continuing pan-European project on the rights of accused persons and victims of crime.
